Project Fair 2018

BHAGWAN MAHAVIR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY had organized the open Project Fair on 20/04/2018 in the college campus in all five departments (Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, E.C and Electronics) to create awareness about different industry defined problems and user defined problems in engineering field. All the final year students had actively participated in the fair and showcased their projects by different means of presentations such as posters, PPTs, brochures, leaflets, working models, etc. For making the project fair a successful one POFTs were created from different departments for the ease of operation during the fair. Different committees of POFTs had been created for arrangement, decoration, invitation, feedback, etc.

All the guides along with other staff members had actively participated the fair. Ms. Yesha Kapadia,Senior Web Developer, Dominant InfoTech,Surat and Mr. Bhautik Gadhiya, Owner of KMSOFT,Surat as External juries were called in respective departments to check the innovative quotient of the projects. Directors, HOD’s and faculty members from neighboring colleges had visited the fair. Around 300 parents have visited the project fair; Students from other neighboring colleges also came in large number in the Project Fair.


The online platform is developed to fill the physical gap between various stake holders for their needs to develop innovations. It provided a stage for industry persons to analyze ideas of students that can be helpful for industries in future. Moreover the pre final year students also had a clear idea as to how they are supposed to carry out their projects in the coming year by visiting the fair and interacting with the final year students. They also learned various managerial skills by helping in organization of the fair.

Total 17 projects were demonstrated by final year students. They have displayed the poster of their project and working models to make it easily understandable for junior students, visitors of the fair. An open invitation was sent to all the staff members and students of the institute and outside Industries.
