      A warm welcome from the electronics department at Bhagwan Mahavir College of enggineering and technology,Surat.Electronics is the branch deals with designing and testing ciruits that use the electromagmetics properties of electrical components such as resistsnce ,inductores and ttransistor to achieve a perticular functioning.Our department has a tearm of experienced and well qualified faculty, staff members and continueous upgraded to cope up with the latest trends.we always work with tha motto" No gain without Pain (genuine effort)".   Oue department has been conducting sevral  Workshop, Seminar, STTP, Conference sine it begining to keep the faculty and student updated to make a line between industry and academics .There are varies major labs like VLSI,Microwave Radar etc ...with all faculties   are available in department.Electronics Enggineering have good future employment apportunity in various feild likr cellular telecom, Microwave, Satellite and IT Fields.

Our Department has developed IRNSS Research lab with the support of BMEF. Various research activities related to GPS GIS and Navigation are carried out in this lab.

      

          I am certain that our students wiii prove to be an valuable  asset to an organization.

Scope of the Lab

The Digital Electronics (DE Lab) is one of the most important and well equipped lab of the Department of Electronics Engineering at GTU. The lab has a signi?cant importance in the department.

Brief Overview of the Lab

The Lab is well equipped with facilities required by the students to perform the necessary experiments designed for this lab. Details of the lab equipment have been discussed in a proceeding section. Experiments are designed in such a way that the students become well aware of the concepts they learn in the theory sessions.

VLSI and Basic Electronics Lab

Scope of the Lab

The VLSI and Basic Electronics LAB is one of the most important and well equipped lab of the Department of Electronics Engineering at GTU. The lab has a significant importance in the department.

Brief Overview of the Lab

The Lab is well equipped with facilities required by the students to perform the necessary experiments designed for this lab along with Xilinx9.2i  ,multisim and Pspice software. Experiments are designed in such a way that the students become well aware of the concepts they learn in the theory sessions.

IRNSS Research Lab

Mr. Virendra A Patel , Asst. Professor from Electronics Department has signed MoU with Space Application Centre - ISRO, Ahmedabad for carring out research activities in the field of GPS GIS and Navigation. The IRNSS Research (Lab Room No - 704 C1) is developed with the support of BMEF.

Fundaments of Image Processing

Scope of the Lab

The fundamental of Image Processing  (FIPLab) is one of the most important and well equipped lab of the Department of Electronics Engineering at GTU. 

Brief Overview of the Lab

The Lab is well equipped with facilities required by the students to perform the necessary experiments designed for this lab. Image processing concerns image properties and image-to-image transformations, whereas the main target of computer vision is the 3-D world. As most computer vision algorithms require some form of image processing, the overlap between the two areas is significant. The contours of the two also blend into those of robotics, signal processing, pattern recognition, control theory, artificial intelligence and other fields
